Grad Story: Olivia Gonzales

Olivia Gonzales, from Winchester, graduated from Chaparral High School in 2021 and immediately enrolled at ²έΑρΙηΗψ earning the Promise Grant which paid for her first two years of college. βHaving the opportunity to attend for free for two years really helped my family,β she said.
While at ²έΑρΙηΗψ, Olivia was involved in the Honors Program, was vice president of NAMI club and president of TEDx²έΑρΙηΗψ, a student-coordinated event that featured several inspiring and motivational speakers and performers.
Olivia earned an associate degree in Liberal Arts Math & Science and through the ²έΑρΙηΗψ Transfer Admission Planner, is transferring to UCLA with a goal of being a UX designer or machine learning engineer.
βI love learning about learning,β she said. It allows me to think about a computer would learn, how we perceive things through technology.β She is intrigued about AI and wants to learn more about how we learn and how computers learn.
